Before joining BBL Asset Management Co., Ltd. in 2017, Thanong Khanthong worked as a journalist for 30 years. He served as editor of The Nation, a leading English language newspaper in Thailand. He moved on from print journalism to work as a radio and TV broadcaster for Nation TV. He played a role in setting up ASEAN TV and worked as its editor.
Thanong’s articles and views expressed in his writings and speaking were well received among the audience both at home and abroad.
Thanong got his bachelor’s degree in English from Thammasat University and a master degree in journalism from the University of South Carolina.
Currently, Thanong serves as Head of Strategic Communications at BBL Asset Management.
