Samuel joined the Wellington Management in October 2018. He is responsible for expanding and developing the
business in the region, with a focus on Greater China. He is located in our Hong Kong office. Prior to joining Wellington,
Samuel was with AXA Investment Managers (2013 – 2018), where he served as the fund distribution sales director for
Asia. He led a team to reinforce and develop AXA IM’s distribution channels in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia
and the Philippines, covering both Private Banking and the Retail Wholesale segments.
Before that, Samuel was with Value Partners Group since 2007 as senior sales manager on Fund Distribution. Prior to
this, he held sales manager and client servicing roles within HSBC Global Asset Management and Invesco. He is a
Hong Kong native and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from the University of Hong Kong (HKU).
He is also a CFA charter holder.
